License your archive to AI developers, on terms you approve.

We help UK publishers, archives and media libraries offer content to AI developers under written, non-exclusive licences.

  • Non-exclusive
  • No upfront cost
  • Commission only on completed deals
  • Your written approval for every deal

Who it’s for

Organisations that hold an archive or backlist and the rights to license it.

  • Publishers with backlists
  • Film and photo archives
  • Sound and stock libraries
  • Specialist magazines

How it works

  1. Free rights review

We review the content you want to offer and the rights you control, including any restrictions.

  2. Prepare and approach

We prepare the content for licensing and approach suitable AI developers and licensing platforms.

  3. You approve each deal

You review the proposed content, permitted uses, payment and other terms. No deal goes ahead without your written approval.

  4. You get paid

We take a commission only on completed deals. The rate is agreed with you in writing before you proceed.

What stays in your control

Non-exclusive

You keep the right to use your content and to license it elsewhere, subject to any existing agreements.

You choose titles and uses

You decide what to offer and which uses to permit, such as training only. You can decline any deal.

Ownership stays with you

We do not take ownership of your content. We only hold copies of your files if you agree to it.

Rights and data safeguards

Every deal is made under a written licence that sets out the agreed content and permitted uses. Licence terms are drafted with UK copyright law and UK GDPR in mind. We recommend you take independent legal advice before signing.

The rights review identifies restrictions before any content is offered. We exclude personal data, and any third-party rights you do not control, from the content offered for licensing.

Questions

Is it exclusive?

No. The licences we arrange are non-exclusive. You keep ownership and can continue to use and license your content, subject to any existing agreements.

What does it cost?

There is no upfront cost. The rights review is free, and we take a commission only on completed deals. We agree the commission with you in writing before you proceed.

Who are the buyers?

AI developers and licensing platforms looking for content for agreed uses. We check who prospective buyers are and explain what they want to do before you decide whether to approve a deal.

How long do deals take?

It depends on the archive, rights checks, buyer demand and negotiations. We will give you our estimate after the rights review. A deal is not guaranteed.

What if we already have an AI deal?

We review the scope and restrictions of your existing agreement first. Where your rights allow it, we can explore additional titles, uses or buyers. We will not offer rights already committed elsewhere.
